The break is over. 12 races to go.

F1 comes back this weekend at Zandvoort, and it's a sprint weekend, so there's a race on Saturday and another on Sunday. Half the season is still ahead of us, and it's the half where the title actually gets decided.

We didn't take the break off. Version 1.0.3 is the biggest update since launch, and most of it came from things you told us after Hungary.

Filters, so you only see what you care about

A busy race sends a lot of alerts. Tap a category and the feed shows only that: just the pit stops, just the battles, just the safety cars. Works during the race and afterwards when you scroll back through it.

A warning when you're following too much

Pick over half the teams as favourites and your phone will not stop. The app now tells you that on the race screen, and takes you straight to the setting that fixes it.

Which tyres everyone starts the race on

Before the race starts you can see which tyres each driver is on, grouped so the split across the grid is obvious. It's the first clue about who is planning to stop early and who is trying to go long.
